- Location Data: With your explicit browser consent, we capture GPS coordinates to display distance and ensure restaurants can deliver to your area.
- Account Data: If you choose to save favorites, we securely store your email and basic profile data via our authentication provider.
- Usage Metrics: Anonymous interaction data (such as categories browsed and buttons clicked) to improve our curation engine.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect strictly to enhance your experience on the platform. Your location data is passed directly into the chat payload when you initiate an order, ensuring the restaurant can effectively route their delivery drivers. Qimsha does not sell your location history to third-party data brokers.
3. Third-Party Routing
When you initiate an order on Qimsha, you are seamlessly transitioned to third-party applications (WhatsApp or Telegram). Please be aware that once the order payload is drafted in these applications, your communication and data are subject to the respective privacy policies of Meta platforms or Telegram Messenger. Qimsha has no visibility into your chat logs with the restaurant.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
You maintain the right to request the deletion of your saved Qimsha account at any time. Offline sync data (such as temporary cart intents) is stored locally on your device and clears automatically upon successful network connection or manual browser cache clearing.
